Being Safe
Once, there was a man who received a letter. The man was surprised when he saw that the letter came from Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ said in the letter that He was going to stay at the man's house for a while. Without any hesitation, the man suddenly prepared the most beautiful room in the world. Think of it like more than a king's VIP room. He got best decorators to design the room he is preparing. They got the biggest and most expensive bed, put in some expensive furnitures, wrapped the room entirely with the best wallpapers and such.
Then, a day after everything was fixed and in order, Jesus knocked on the man's door. The man prepared the best meals in town just for Jesus. Just imagine like it was a buffet for 2 people. They talked and talked for hours.
When night came, the man heard a loud knock from the door. At first, he was just ignoring it but the knocking didn't stop. So he finally went and answered the door. When he opened the door, he was surprised because the one causing all the racket was a demon. Upon seeing that it was a demon, he hurried to close the door but the demon was strong. He couldn't close the door completely so he had to battle with it. Until finally, the demon gave up.
On the second night, there was it again, the loud knocking on the door. He answered it but this time, there wasn't just one but three of them now. So, of course he had to battle with them again and again so that he could completely close the door and keep them away from getting inside his house.
This time, the man questioned himself, doesn't Jesus hear the door? why doesn't He help me fighting the demons at the door. Then the man went and asked Jesus about this. Jesus answered,"Son, you only made me Lord of this room and not the whole house". Minutes later, the man instantly prayed, received Jesus Christ and made him Lord of his house.
The third night came, and there was it again. The loud knocking at the door, this time, Jesus was the one who answered the door. Once He opened the door, He saw satan and an army of demons. Jesus asked, "What do you want from this house?". Satan answered in hush tone, "Nothing, sorry we got the wrong house. :)". Then satan and his army went off and never came back ever again.
I Love You ♥
Dear Mommy,
Hi, Mommy. I'm your baby. You don't know me yet, I'm only a few weeks old. You're going to find out about me soon, though, I promise. Let me tell you some things about me. My name is John, and I've got beautiful brown eyes and black hair. Well, I don't have it yet, but I will when I'm born. I'm going to be your only child, and you'll call me your one and only. I'm going to grow up without a daddy mostly, but we have each other. We'll help each other, and love each other. I want to be a doctor when I grow up.
You found out about me today, Mommy! You were so excited, you couldn't wait to tell everyone. All you could do all day was smile, and life was perfect. You have a beautiful smile, Mommy. It will be the first face I will see in my life, and it will be the best thing I see in my life. I know it already.
Today was the day you told Daddy. You were so excited to tell him about me! ...He wasn't happy, Mommy. He kind of got angry. I don't think that you noticed, but he did. He started to talk about something called wedlock, and money, and bills, and stuff I don't think I understand yet. You were still happy, though, so it was okay. Then he did something scary, Mommy. He hit you. I could feel you fall backward, and your hands flying up to protect me. I was okay... but I was very sad for you. You were crying then, Mommy. That's a sound I don't like. It doesn't make me feel good. It made me cry, too. He said sorry after, and he hugged you again. You forgave him, Mommy, but I'm not sure if I do. It wasn't right. You say he loves you... why would he hurt you? I don't like it, Mommy.
Finally, you can see me! Your stomach is a little bit bigger, and you're so proud of me! You went out with your mommy to buy new clothes, and you were so so so happy. You sing to me, too. You have the most beautiful voice in the whole wide world. When you sing is when I'm happiest. And you talk to me, and I feel safe. So safe. You just wait and see, Mommy. When I am born I will be perfect just for you. I will make you proud, and I will love you with all of my heart.
I can move my hands and feet now, Mommy. I do it because you put your hands on your belly to feel me, and I giggle. You giggle, too. I love you, Mommy.
Daddy came to see you today, Mommy. I got really scared. He was acting funny and he wasn't talking right. He said he didn't want you. I don't know why, but that's what he said. And he hit you again. I got angry, Mommy. When I grow up I promise I won't let you get hurt! I promise to protect you. Daddy is bad. I don't care if you think that he is a good person, I think he's bad. But he hit you, and he said he didn't want us. He doesn't like me. Why doesn't he like me, Mommy?
You didn't talk to me tonight, Mommy. Is everything okay?
It's been three days since you saw Daddy. You haven't talked to me or touched me or anything since that. Don't you still love me, Mommy? I still love you. I think you feel sad. The only time I feel you is when you sleep. You sleep funny, kind of curled up on your side. And you hug me with your arms, and I feel safe and warm again. Why don't you do that when you're awake, any more?
I'm 21 weeks old today, Mommy. Aren't you proud of me? We're going somewhere today, and it's somewhere new. I'm excited. It looks like a hospital, too. I want to be a doctor when I grow up, Mommy. Did I tell you that? I hope you're as excited as I am. I can't wait.
...Mommy, I'm getting scared. Your heart is still beating, but I don't know what you are thinking. The doctor is talking to you. I think something's going to happen soon. I'm really, really, really scared, Mommy. Please tell me you love me. Then I will feel safe again. I love you!
Mommy, what are they doing to me!? It hurts! Please make them stop! It feels bad! Please, Mommy, please please help me! Make them stop!
Don't worry Mommy, I'm safe. I'm in heaven with the angels now. They told me what you did, and they said it's called an abortion.
Why, Mommy? Why did you do it? Don't you love me any more? Why did you get rid of me? I'm really, really, really sorry if I did something wrong, Mommy. I love you, Mommy! I love you with all of my heart. Why don't you love me? What did I do to deserve what they did to me? I want to live, Mommy! Please! It really, really hurts to see you not care about me, and not talk to me. Didn't I love you enough? Please say you'll keep me, Mommy! I want to live smile and watch the clouds and see your face and grow up and be a doctor. I don't want to be here, I want you to love me again! I'm really really really sorry if I did something wrong. I love you!
I love you, Mommy.
Jesus Loves You. :D
Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at their church, the Pastor and his 11-year-old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel tracts. This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside as well as pouring down rain. The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said excitedly,
"Okay Dad, I'm ready!" His Pastor Dad asked, "Ready for what?
"Dad, it's time we gather our Bible tracts together and go out." Dad responds,
"Son, it's very cold outside and it's really pouring down rain."
The boy gave his Dad a surprised look, asking,
"But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?"
Dad answered slowly, "Son, I am not going out in this weather."
Despondently the boy asks, "Dad, can I go -- Please? Come on Dad.."
His father hesitated for a moment then said, "Son, you can go.
Here's the tracts; be careful son." "Thanks, Dad!"
He jumped up and with that he was off and out the door dashing into the rain.
This 11-year-old boy walked the streets of the town going door-to-door and handing everybody he met in the street a Gospel tract.
After 2-hours of walking in the rain he was soaked to the bone-chilled wet and down to his very last Bible tract.
He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to but the streets were totally deserted.
Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell.
He rang the bell -- but nobody answered. He rang it again and again bit still no one answered.
He waited but still no answer. Finally, this 11-year-old trooper turned to leave but something stopped him.
Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist.
He waited, something holding him there on the front porch.
He rang again, and this time the door slowly opened.
Standing in the doorway was a very sad looking elderly lady.
She softly asked, "Yes? What can I do for you, son?"
With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said,
"Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that, JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU!
I came to give you my very last Gospel tract which will tell you all about Jesus and His great love."
With that he handed her his last tract, and turned to leave. She called to him as he departed,
"Thank you, son! And God bless you!" he heard a cheerful uplift to her voice.
Well, the following Sunday morning in church, Pastor Dad was in the pulpit and as the service began he asked,
"Does anybody have a testimony or want to say anything?"
Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet.
As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her face.
"None of you in this Church know me. I've never been here before.
You see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband has passed on, some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world.
Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more so in my heart . . . as I came to the end of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live.
"So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home.
I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. "Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted, I was about to leap off when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me.
I thought, 'Wait, I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.'
"I waited and waited-- but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly.
I thought to myself again, 'Who on earth could this be?! Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me!'
"I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder.
When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes!
"There on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life! His smile!
Oh, I could never describe it to you! And the words that came from his mouth caused my heart, that had long been dead, to leap to life again, as he exclaimed with cherub-like voice, 'Ma'am, I just came to tell you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU.'
"Then he gave me this Gospel tract that I now hold in my hand.
As the little angel disappeared back out, into the damp cold and rain, I then closed my door and read slowly every word of this Gospel tract. Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair.
I wouldn't be needing them any more. "You see, I am now a happy child of the KING, and since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel tract I have come here to personally say, 'Thank you to God's little angel who came just in the nick of time, and by doing so, spared my soul from an eternity in Hell.'
" There were now no dry eyes in the church. As shouts of praise and honor to the KING resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little angel was seated. He took him in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably.
Probably no church has had a more glorious moment and probably this Universe has never seen a Papa that was more filled with love and honor for his son, except for one: This Father, God, also allowed His Son, Jesus, to go out into a cold and dark world. He received His Son back with unspeakable, and as all of Heaven shouted praises and honor to the King, the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and every name that is named. There may be someone, reading this, who is also going through a dark, cold and lonely time in your soul. You may be a Christian, for we are not without problems, or you may not yet know the King. Whatever the case, and whatever the problem or situation you find yourself in, and no matter how dark it may seem, I want you to know that I just came to tell you, "JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU!"
"'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.(John 3:16)
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.'" John 3:16-18 (NIV)
An Important Guest
Ruth went to her mailbox and there was only one letter. She picked it up and looked at it before opening, but then she looked at the envelope again. There was no stamp, no postmark, only her name and address. She read the letter:
Dear Ruth,
I'm going to be in your neighborhood Saturday afternoon and I'd like to stop by for a visit.
Love Always,
Jesus
Her hands were shaking as she placed the letter on the table. "Why would the Lord want to visit me? I'm nobody special. I don't have anything to offer." With that thought, Ruth remembered her empty kitchen cabinets. "Oh my goodness, I really don't have anything to offer. I'll have to run down to the store and buy something for dinner."
She reached for her purse and counted out its contents. Five dollars and forty cents. "Well, I can get some bread and cold cuts, at least." She threw on her coat and hurried out the door. A loaf of French bread, a half-pound of sliced turkey, and a carton of milk...leaving Ruth with a grand total of twelve cents to last her until Monday.
Nonetheless, she felt as she headed home, her meager offerings tucked under her arm. "Hey lady, can you help us, lady?" Ruth had been so absorbed in her dinner plans, she hadn't even noticed two figures huddled in the alleyway. A man and a woman, both of them dressed in little more than rags.
"Look lady, I ain't got a job, ya know, and my wife and I have been living out here on the street, and, well, now it's getting cold and we're getting kinda hungry and, well, if you could help us, lady, we'd really appreciate it." Ruth looked at them both.
They were dirty, they smelled bad and, frankly, she was certain that they could get some kind of work if they really wanted to. "Sir, I'd like to help you, but I'm a poor woman myself. All I have is a few cold cuts and some bread, and I'm having an important guest for dinner tonight and I was planning on serving that to Him."
"Yeah, well, OK lady, I understand. Thanks anyway."
The man put his arm around the woman's shoulders, turned and headed back into the alley. As she watched them leave, Ruth felt a familiar twinge in her heart. "Sir, wait!"The couple stopped and turned as she ran down the alley after them. "Look, why don't you take this food. I'll figure out something else to serve my guest." She handed the man her grocery bag. "Thank you lady. Thank you very much!" "Yes, thank you!" It was the man's wife, and Ruth could see now that she was shivering.
"You know, I've got another coat at home. Here, why don't you take this one." Ruth unbuttoned her jacket and slipped it over the woman's shoulders. Then smiling, she turned and walked back to the street...without her coat and with nothing to serve her guest. "Thank you lady! Thank you very much!"
Ruth was chilled by the time she reached her front door, and worried too. The Lord was coming to visit and she didn't have anything to offer Him. She fumbled through her purse for the door key. But as she did, she noticed another envelope in her mailbox. "That's odd. The mailman doesn't usually come twice in one day." She took the envelope out of the box and opened it.
Dear Ruth,
It was so good to see you again. Thank you for the lovely meal. And thank you, too, for the beautiful coat.
Love Always,
Jesus

Knowing your true self!
This is just an excerpt from Discover Who You Really
Are - written by Este Geldenhuys
My ‘I am' is hidden in the great ‘I AM'! Thank God!
It's wonderful to take stock of who I am in Him, according to the Word.
I am a new creation:
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
I am one spirit with Him:
But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
1 Corinthians 6:17
I am a child of God:
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall
see Him as He is.
1 John 3:2
I am an heir of God:
Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Galatians 4:7
I am a citizen and also a member of the household of God:
Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.
Ephesians 2:19
I am an earthen vessel filled with his power:
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
2 Corinthians 4:7
I am a branch of the true vine (I have not been cast off):
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
John 15:5
I was chosen in Him before the foundation of the world and called to be holy and without blame before Him:
...just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love...
Ephesians 1:4
I am a partaker of the divine nature of Jesus:
...by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2 Peter 1:4
I am a king and priest to the Father:
...and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever.
Revelation 1:6
I have been raised up from death caused by sin and now sit together with Jesus in heavenly places:
...even when we were dead in trespasses, [God] made us alive together with Christ (by
grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together
in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus...
Ephesians 2:5-6
God's Spirit is in me:
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
1 Corinthians 2:12
I have been called to be a saint (not a sinner):
...to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. . .
1 Corinthians 1:2
I am strong in Him:
I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.
1 John 2:14
I am more than a conqueror through Him:
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:37
I no longer live, but Christ lives in me:
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Pressure in your life?
It's been a week since I last updated Kira's blog. I had lots of activities and I always go to bed late night and wake up early. I never forget to read my Bible even though I have things to do. I got a verse which struck me the most.
"Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ."
- Galatians 1:10
I've reflected on this verse. Am I trying to impress the people or am I trying to impress God?
I've got this verse, well, I'd share it in our class and this moment, I realize that verse.
"He must become greater; I must become less."
- John 3:30
I'd realize, should I boast myself more or should I boast about Jesus?
When I opened the internet, I opened the site:
www.biblegateway.com
and for the verse of the day, it goes like this:
“But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
- 1 Samuel 16:7
You've seen the connection?
God looks at our heart. Yes, actions are important but what matter most is what's in your heart.
When I opened www.dare2share.org, this is what I saw:
http://www.dare2share.org/students/what-will-be-your-teen-choice-award/
I just want to bring glory to Him because I love Him. :)
So, what's your verse for this day or for your situation today? :)
As what Kira said in his one of his blog,
"You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength."
- Philippians 4:13
So, cheer up, stand up, don't get pressure in your studies or in your life.
Remember:
THE BEST IS YET TO COME. :)
School pressure
Hello again guys! Today, our adviser just gave us our school projects and I just really felt the pressure of being a student. My college course is Software Development. To be less specific, it's kind of like Computer Science but it's a little more complicated since we also have some subjects that are related with Information Technology.
Now, here's how it is. I'm feeling the BIG pressure because, we have case studies on all our major subjects: vb.NET, ASP.NET, and C++. All our case studies would be passed after three(3) to six(6) weeks starting today.
In vb.NET, we were grouped into two and we're supposed to make a system that's different from the usual. Well, actually, he didn't say different but from my own point of view, I'd rather create something different than the usual. Something that's special and would be used by every person.
In ASP.NET, we were grouped as individual. Judging from the current status of my knowledge in this field, I don't think I could create a website with good design and a simple database. And in C++, our adviser haven't told us yet, so I don't have problems with this one yet.
Now, there's one more subject that I have a problem with. It's only a minor subject but it is a very tiring subject namely, English 3: Speech Communication. We have to do newscasting, which by the way is finished yesterday, a talk show, a documentary film, and a short film.
Well, It's just easy but my schedule is kind if full from Monday-Sunday. I'm just lucky now because I didn't get my On-the-Job Training this semester, unlike my classmates. Almost all of them took their OJT's and next semester would be very devastating. :)
I would have my OJT and my thesis plus documentation. That's hard! Without a balanced schedule, It'd be very very hard.
Later today, I got this message from someone...
I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength.

and this one..
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

It's just great to see how God works and comforts us through all the people around us. So, if you want some comfort, just open your bibles and read. :)
My Super ONE!
I found this cool contest from the Globe Tattoo last July 26, 2010, namely, the Super One Blogger Contest and I thought about joining it as soon as I've seen it. But of course, I've got a lot of things to do since I'm just still a 17-year-old boy who goes to school so, I didn't get a chance to write from the very beginning.
For some info, Globe tattoo is one of the many amazing products given by Globe, one of the biggest network providers in the Philippines, and this is what I am using right now to write this post. LOL, am only on prepaid though but I sure would like to avail of their Super One product one of these days, because I am a heavy internet, call and text user that's why I usually go for the unlimited stuff(much more costly than postpaid subscribers, I think).
Anyways, the clock is ticking and I still haven't told you who my Super one is. Wish me luck! Well, here it goes...
First of all, I do not know who is my super one yet, I've been thinking about it for about 3 days now, I've got 2 people whom I really really love and they all fit to be my super one. And now I've chosen the best one. Hope you agree with me on this. :)
It's our great big daddy God. Of course, I don't have any picture of Him or with Him but He's always there for us even if we don't see Him. So, I just put up something that I think best represents Him. Did you know that He loves you very much? even if you've had committed a lot of sins? Here's a little story that I'd like to share in Filipino. For people who'd like to read in English, you can still read, just use the translator button on the bar below. :)
Kunwari, may Php1000 ako, yung bago, walang lukot o sulat. Kapag iniwan ko 'yan sa daan, sigurado may kukuha n'yan. Paano 'pag linukot ko yung Php1000? May kukuha pa ba? Aba! Syempre naman meron 'di ba? Eh paano naman kung pinag-apakan ko na? May kukuha pa ba? Of course naman, sayang ang 1k. Eh paano kung nahulog na sa kanal yung Php1000? Yes! Meron pa din. Don't be shocked kasi ang Php1000, Php1000 pa din naman yan eh. Di naman magbabago yung value nyan.
So, now here's the explanation:
Imagine that you are that Php1000. You've been crumpled, stepped on, written on, thrown into the canals and still, there is gonna be one person that's gonna come and get you. And that one person is God. Those things that were done to you, they represent every sin you've made. You probably are thinking that you are so dirty because of all the sins you've made. But nevertheless, in God's eyes you are still you, your value is still the same for Him. He will forget every sin you've made.
"For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."
-- Hebrews 8:12
Watch this:
Do you see how much He loves you? He sent a his one and only Son just to save us.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
-- John 3:16
He's like a suitor that keeps on loving you even if you don't love Him back! That's why He's my Super One! How about you? Who's your super one?
